JACKSON ALLEN
coach / cf-l1
At ECFC, I use my CF-L1 to coach group CrossFit classes with a focus on supporting athletes at every stage of their fitness journey, from brand-new members learning foundational movements to experienced athletes pursuing performance gains. My coaching philosophy is people-first. I prioritize meeting athletes where they are and helping them develop confidence, skill, and long-term consistency inside the gym.
My athletic background includes competing as a three-sport athlete in high school—football, basketball, and track and field—and running Division III track at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. During my collegiate career, I broke and held three school records, served as the lead leg on a conference-champion 4x100 relay, won a CCIW indoor 200-meter conference title, and earned Academic All-American honors twice. I have also coached Illinois state finalists in every sprint relay at Maroa-Forsyth High School (2020-2021).
Fun fact: my senior quote: “If you can’t swim, you bound to drizound, homeboy.”
